Since its founding in 1975 by Allan Steward, the business has grown from a start up to one that holds a Royal Warrant, highlighting its dedication to reliability and excellence. Today Shield Pest Control is more than just a business, it is a legacy built on generations of expertise and continues to thrive under the leadership of son, Daniel Steward, who serves as Managing Director.
Over the past 50 years Shield Pest Control has served clients throughout the Southeast, both commercial and residential, including highly renowned clients like The Houses of Parliament, Harley Street clinics, and Lock & Co.
Shield has celebrated this business milestone with a heartfelt event at Davy’s Wine Bar in London, one of its cherished long-standing clients. The atmosphere was one of warmth and joy as staff, clients, family and friends gathered to celebrate five decades of growth, shared success and the unwavering values that have defined the company.
Shield takes pride in acknowledging key milestones in the business’ journey. In 2008, the company was awarded a Royal Warrant (for services to The Royal Household) by Her Majesty The Queen – an honour reaffirmed in 2024 by His Majesty The King. This prestigious recognition highlights our longstanding service to the Royal Household and our dedication to professionalism and discretion. The enduring confidence stands as a testament to Shields’ integrity, reliability and attention to detail.
Our Managing Director, Daniel Steward shared his thoughts on the accomplishment, expressing that “Reaching our 50th anniversary is an incredible milestone for our team.
