I am delighted to announce another major step by Shield Pest Control to further reduce its Carbon Footprint and harness its environmental responsibility within its business, customers and partnerships. On Friday 8th November 2019 the founder of Shield Pest Control will take delivery of a brand new Audi e-tron 55. This is our first company vehicle that is 100% electric and another milestone on the journey to replacing all new vehicles to the hybrid or full electric format.
Shield have continued to make solid progress towards building an enduring sustainability culture and to ensure that we deliver the right message across our business and customers. As part of this I have decided go full electric for my choice of company vehicle. The rest of the Shield fleet will be following suit over the next few years.
We were impressed that the Audi e-tron is among the best rate of any EV on sale and can expect a range of 248 miles which offers lower costs and lower carbon emissions. Shield Pest Control has been awarded The Royal Warrant by H.M The Queen, which requires us to deliver our business to a gold standard of stringent commercial and environmental measures.
