Shield Pest Control Achieves Silver Recycling Standard in 2023

Here at Shield Pest Control, we are delighted to announce that our company has received environmental certification for our achievement of a Silver Recycling Standard in 2023, powered by First Mile’s recycling collection services.

During 2023, Shield Pest Control achieved a 100% recycling rate, avoiding 1.3 tonnes of carbon emissions, and successfully diverted 0.9 tonnes of waste from landfill, whilst saving 6.7 trees in the process.

We are proud to be a part of First Mile. In total, its customers (including Shield Pest Control) avoided a whopping 109,000 tonnes of carbon in 2023, working towards a more sustainable future. At Shield Pest Control, we are committed to becoming more environmentally aware and look forward to continuing our sustainability journey with First Mile throughout 2024.
