Shield Pest Control Partners with Royal Warrant Holders’ Charity to Support Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice

We are honoured to have been awarded an Employee Fundraising Grant of £500 from the Royal Warrant Holders’ Charity, in recognition of our recent fundraising efforts for one of our chosen charities for 2026, Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice.

On Monday 16th of March, our team proudly hosted a local quiz night to raise funds for this extraordinary charity, which holds a deeply personal significance for many of our staff. The hospice’s compassionate care and support for those facing terminal illness resonate closely with our team, reflecting both personal experiences and a shared commitment to giving back to the community.

The quiz night was a resounding success, raising a total of £2,160, including £1,354 contributed via JustGiving by our staff, generous donations from family, friends, local businesses and suppliers, as well as various raffle prizes donated for the quiz night by local businesses. This total also includes £306 from Gift Aid, and the £500 grant from the RWH Charity.

In addition to our recent fundraising efforts, we also continue to support Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice through providing routine pest control at the Abbey Wood hospice and several of the charity’s retail shops, helping to keep these facilities safe and pest-free.
